On September 13, 2010 His Holiness the Dalai Lama came to Lamdon School – Leh and met with over 25,000 Tibetans and Ladakhis who were affected by the devastating floods of August.  He brought blessings, encouragement and sincere promises of support.

Before departing, His Holiness thanked the officers of Lamdon Social Welfare Society for all they have done to aid the victims of the flood.  The support being raised by everyone connected with this fund raising appeal go directly to Lamdon Society to help them continue their compassionate work

Never Give Up

No matter what is going on

Never give up

Develop the heart

Too much energy is spent developing the mind

instead of the heart

Be compassionate

Not just to your friends

but to everyone

Be compassionate

Work for peace

in your heart and in the world

Work for peace

and I say again

Never give up

No matter what is happening

No matter what is going on around you

Never give up
