The administration and teachers of Tanglin Trust School have immediately authorized the very generous donation of S$5,000 which was sent to the Lamdon School-Leh (Flood Relief) account at State Bank of India.

The 170,000 India rupees that this donation will be converted to will enable the principal, Mr. Eshey Tundup , to continue his monumental effort to assure all those students and staff that were severely affected by the flood are taken care of for their basic needs.

Two Major Fund Raising Efforts are Planned for September/October on the campus of Tanglin Trust:

The concert was held on Monday September 20th and was a huge success that raised over S$6,000 for the Ladakh Flood Relief.

Thanks very much to Kim Kelly and her team of musicians for their efforts to organize the concert.

Tanglin Trust Book Fair

“Class Moms” Annely Williams & Deborah Thurley worked together with teacher Chris Neesham to organize a Book Swap fund raising event for the year 3 classes at Tanglin Trust School. The kids sold almost 700 books and raised   S$1,400 for the Ladakh flood relief effort.  The book swap was so successful that there are now plans for a similar event for the grade 6 students.

Well done Deborah, Annely, Chris and the grade 3 classes at Tanglin!
